On Monday it was time for the Lieutenant Governor’s Leadership Forum again. We jumped at the chance to work with a group of young people who have identified themselves as youth leaders; we are all about youth leadership at SIM! We took this opportunity to fill these young leaders in on our simple plan for how they can begin to make a difference for physical activity!

On Tuesday (Aug 24th) Saskatchewan in motion (SIM) staffers met up with an eager group of people power enthusiasts for an active transportation flash mob.
It was the second flash mob I was involved with organizing for Sask in motion. We took an entirely different approach with this one, different concept, recruitment plan, filming strategy; the only thing that was similar was location.

Where did a new year sneak up from? It Feels like only a year ago we were all freaking out about Y2K and ringing in the new millennium. It’s a new year and that means a fresh start, big plans, and resolutions of course! I’ve made and shall we say graciously abandoned many resolutions myself. Usually involving working out and getting in shape. This year there will be no resolution. Instead this January 1, 2010 will mark the first day in a gradual endeavor towards a lifestyle change. See I think I figured out why (for me anyway) resolutions don’t work…
